In the flowering stage, the terminal buds become purple or almost black, what makes it a more fascinating grow.

Critical Purple Kush also has a high resin content, and it leaves a sticky residue on your fingers. It delivers a complex smell, a mix of coffee and earthy tones, resulting in a sweet and very aromatic sensation. Growing Critical Purple Kush Strain

This strain of plant has the potential to go up quite high, where outdoor ground growing could yield heights of 8-9 ft. In the northern latitudes, it will be harvestable at the end of September or beginning of October. In such an environment each plant can produce 600-800 gr. Flowering periods indoors are about 60-65 days and the yield is 400-500 gr/m2.

The critical purple strain branches are, however, quite spindly and may require tying or training to avoid snapping under the weight of the large, spongy, purple buds. Though all plants will not turn purple but the best color results will come from a large night temperature differences from that of daylight. Generally, this variety could result in the good yield and beautiful buds.

How to Germinate Your Critical Purple Kush Feminized Seeds

PLEASE follow these 3 simple steps for best results: 

1) Empty your Critical Purple Kush cannabis seed from the capsule you received in a cup of purified room-temperature water. Don’t worry if it sinks or floats.

2) Place the container in a dark warm place (like a kitchen cabinet) for 6-24 hours, but no longer! You do NOT want a long and very delicate tap root to be growing at this stage- you just want to soften the shell.

3) After 6-24 hours- gently scoop out the seed with a spoon and place/cover in 1/2” deep in good potting soil or preferably in a soaked Jiffy pellet/peat pellet (buy Jiffy pellets from Amazon or local hardware/garden store).

* Keep the soil/pellet moist (not soaked) and warm under your grow lights

* Your little marijuana seedlings should sprout within 4-12 days – BE PATIENT

* Take a bong hit and enjoy the ride!

Side Note: Some suggest germinating cannabis seeds using a wet paper towel on a plate/tweezer method. We find that this method is not the best for cannabis seeds because paper towels dry out quickly and getting the germinating seeds out of the paper towel can be clumsy damaging the seedling. Using tweezers can be dangerous as soaked seeds are much more fragile.
