About Super Silver Haze Strain

In the wonderful 90’s, a daring experiment was carried out which resulted in a massive and more notable strain of marijuana. This unique strain combined three iconic marijuana varieties: Northern Lights #5 and Skunk #1 and Haze. Individually, each strain of them presented the science of cannabis breeding, and in combination, this study becomes truly amazing.

One of the offspring of this test—Super Silver Haze—has an interesting genealogy that is all thanks to the experiment itself. This strain gets a double dose of powerful tropical Sativa and therefore, has a psychedelic effect. Despite being predominantly Sativa, Super Silver Haze is a different variety from the rest of the Haze strains because it has a shorter maturity period, internodal distance, and denser buds.

The strain Super Silver Haze is popular for hash and extracts because its THC content is around 21%. Trichomes in the leaves of this strain are quite high in the covers, hence only aesthetic trimming is needed. The clippings from the Super Silver Haze also yield the best hash as they have a lot of essential oils and powerful cannabinoids.

Effects of Super Silver Haze Autoflower

Super Silver Haze marijuana strikes at the central nervous system. Its Sativa high will ignite your neurons and make you feel creative and productive. The aromatic buds have a THC content of about 21%. Low CBD level results in head clarity.

Growing Super Silver Haze Autoflower Strain

PLEASE follow these 3 simple steps for the best results: 

1) Empty your Silver Haze Autoflower Seeds from the capsule you received in a cup of purified room-temperature water. Don’t worry if it sinks or floats.

2) Place container in a dark warm place (like a kitchen cabinet) for 12-24 hours, but no longer! You do NOT want a long and very delicate tap root to be growing at this stage-

3) After the 12-24 hours- gently scoop out the seed with a spoon and place/cover in 1/2” deep in good potting soil or preferably in a soaked Jiffy pellet/peat pellet (buy Jiffy pellets from Amazon or local hardware/garden store).

* Keep the soil/pellet moist (not soaked) and warm under your grow lights – No Fertilizer!

* This little baby seed should sprout within 3-12 days – Be Patient!!

* Light that joint and enjoy the ride!

Side Note: Some suggest germinating cannabis seeds using a wet paper towel on a plate/tweezer method. We find that this method is not the best for cannabis seeds because paper towels dry out quickly and getting the germinating seeds out of the paper towel can be clumsy damaging the seedling. Using tweezers can be dangerous as soaked seeds are much more fragile.
