Indoors growers: For the Zkittlez strain, it is recommended to use high-discharge lamps to provide the necessary light and the setup should mimic a northern climate.  The indoor cultivator, fully developed, can produce up to thirteen ounces per square meter.

Outdoor growers: This strain is really all about timing and in this respect, I think that this is one of the best strains out there.  If you want to get the best Zkittlez weed with a great taste, then you need to be patient.  When properly dried, the flowers have a sweet and sour fragrance with a slight sour berry and lemon rind flavor.

For those who want to get the famous purple color of the buds, which is also related to the specific high of marijuana, it is recommended to expose the plants to low temperatures at night before moving them to the flowering stage.  Note that the temperatures stated above are still cold but it does not mean that the temperature is freezing.  Be sensible.  Shoots should begin to develop in 9-10 weeks after the onset of transplanting.

To enhance the yield, it is recommended to allow as much time as possible before cutting this Zkittlez strain; this affects the cannabinoids and terpenes which affect the taste and aroma and should not be hurried.  As mentioned earlier, the best time for harvesting is in late September or early October, so it would be better to plan it this way.  All this could be quite overwhelming, but it is simply timing in its widest sense.

How to Germinate Your Zkittlez Autoflower Cannabis Seeds

PLEASE follow these 3 simple steps for the best results: 

1) Empty your Zkittlez Autoflower seed from the capsule you received in a cup of purified room-temperature water. Don’t worry if it sinks or floats.

2) Place container in a dark warm place (like a kitchen cabinet) for 6-24 hours, but no longer! You do NOT want a long and very delicate tap root to be growing at this stage-

3) After the 6-24 hours- gently scoop out the seed with a spoon and place/cover in 1/2” deep in good potting soil or preferably in a soaked Jiffy pellet/peat pellet (buy Jiffy pellets from Amazon or local hardware/garden store).

* Keep the soil/pellet moist (not soaked) and warm under the sun or your grow lights – No Fertilizer!

* Your little baby seedling should sprout within 4-12 days. Be patient!!! They will sprout!!

* Take a bong hit and enjoy the ride!

Side Note: Some suggest germinating cannabis seeds using a wet paper towel on a plate/tweezer method. We find that this method is not the best for cannabis seeds because paper towels dry out quickly and getting the germinating seeds out of the paper towel can be clumsy damaging the seedling. Using tweezers can be dangerous as soaked seeds are much more fragile. We like to play it safe and germinate cannabis seeds using purified water and jiffy pellets which are specifically designed to easily germinate seeds.
